The Upcycle Revival Challenge 2024

The Upcycle Revival Challenge 2024

The Upcycle Revival Challenge 2024 is organised by Singapore Food Manufacturers' Association (SFMA), Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) @ SP and sponsored by KH Roberts and FoodPlant.

The aim of the challenge is to promote sustainability and innovation in the food manufacturing sector, while creating more opportunities for test-bedding of new products. Additionally, the challenge hopes to expose young talent from different disciplines to the food industry.

It is a 6-month (March - August 2024) product development programme, where the participating companies team up with mentor and students from Singapore Polytechnic and underwent various training courses, picking up concepts and technical knowledge to create new upcycled food products for the companies, design the product packaging, and develop marketing strategies for the innovations.
