Singapore enterprises looking to expand overseas need the right talent to compete effectively in the global market.
The Global Ready Talent Programme (GRT) aims to build a pipeline of global-ready talent for Singapore enterprises through exposing more Singaporeans to internships and overseas work opportunities.
This programme comprises of two key components:
Local and Overseas Internships - Support for Singapore enterprises that are keen to build their talent pipeline to support business expansion plans. Overseas internships will focus on opportunities in Southeast Asia, China and India.
Management Associate Programme - Support for Singapore enterprises keen to train and invest in overseas work exposure for young Singaporeans to deepen in-market knowledge. The programme will focus on overseas work placements in Southeast Asia, China and India.
Singapore enterprises offering student internships or management associate programmes are eligible for up to 70% funding support on qualifying costs.

About the Global Ready Talent Programme (Internships)
The Global Ready Talent Programme (Internships) supports enterprises that are keen to build talent pipeline to support expansion plans. Singapore enterprises offering student internships to Institute of Technical Education (ITEs), Polytechnics and Universities are eligible for up to 70% funding on the monthly stipend. The programme also supports enterprises in building a young talent pipeline for their expansion plans through overseas internships.
Enterprise Singapore will partner Trade Associations (TACs) and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) to facilitate internship placements in Singapore enterprises. The TACs will evaluate and qualify promising Singapore enterprises to come on-board the programme, whilst the IHLs will drive student participation in Singapore enterprises.

Internship opportunities with Singapore enterprises in their overseas markets, with focus on Southeast Asia, China and India
Internship opportunities with Singapore enterprises, where enterprises have the flexibility of providing internship opportunities in Singapore and in their overseas markets for the entire internship duration.
Example: For a 6-month internship stint, the Singapore enterprise can choose to have the intern based in its Singapore office for 4 months and for the intern to be sent to their overseas markets for the remaining 2 months.
The Singapore enterprise must minimally offer a continuous two-week internship stint in their overseas market.

About the Global Ready Talent Programme (Management Associate)
The Global Ready Talent Programme (Management Associate) provides up to 70% funding support for Singapore enterprises that are keen to train and invest in overseas work exposure for young Singaporeans to deepen in-market knowledge and gain overseas exposure opportunities. The programme targets fresh graduates or existing employees in the company with no more than 3 years of work experience and focuses on overseas work placements in Southeast Asia, China and India.
