Co-Organised by: SFMA and EUROFINS
Sign up for this 2.5hr event where we will immerse ourselves in the reality of retailing food products overseas. Through a thorough examination, we will tackle the significant hurdles that food producers, exporters, and traders face when venturing into global markets. Our focus will extend to cover packaging regulations for key international markets and specific nutritional panel requirements, all supported by genuine illustrations.
Additionally, we will explore the typical logistical pre-requisites for shipping containers and conclude by delving into fundamental trade compliance essentials, such as confirming HS codes and addressing tax and duty obligations.
Our workshop partner, Eurofins Scientific, is an international network of life sciences companies offering unique analytical testing services across various industries. They're globally renowned for expertise in food, environmental, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic product testing, as well as genomics, clinical studies, and more.
In this session, our partner will elucidate the vital prerequisites for nutritional, contaminant, and microbiological testing for exports, crucial aspects for any export endeavour. Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to tour their state-of-the-art facility and witness firsthand cutting-edge testing methodologies in action.
