Monash Food Innovation (MFI) in conjunction with Enterprise Singapore and the Singaporean Food Manufacturers Association, completed the New Frontiers Innovation Program 2021. The program was centered around senior (over 65 years) Australians.

Sugar Smart Challenge 2020

In view of the War on Diabetes and the sugar tax debate on pre-packaged drinks in Singapore, the SFMA's Sugar Smart Challenge will provide a platform for FMs to collaborate with resource partners to develop 'sugar-LESS'/ reduced sugar food products for the local market and exports.

Food Innovation Product Award 2019 (FIPA)

The Food Innovation Product Award (FIPA) is a food innovation competition that builds on SFMA’s existing collaborations between the industry and Institutes of Higher Learning. Students from the Food Science and Technology courses from ITE, Polytechnics and Universities will partner food manufacturers to develop innovative food products and market launch strategies.

Singapore Food Gifts Initiative

The Singapore Food Gifts initiative was launched by Minister Lim Hng Kiang, Senior Minister of State Sim Ann and SFMA's Thomas Pek on 18 November 2017, and is part of SFMA's drive to accelerate the commericalisation of innovative products and help local food manufacturers access new markets.

SG Food Makers is an initiative comprising a series of activities aimed at enhancing public perception and understanding of Singapore's food manufacturing sector.
